When you arrive on campus in early September you will be inundated with material answering a wide range of questions. In the meantime, you may find the following information to be of use right now. We also encourage you to visit the special section on the University website dedicated to your class, Welcome Class of 2013, where you will find all sorts of useful information including the freshman orientation calendar of events, key contacts, and dates and deadlines. As soon as you arrive for Freshman Orientation you will meet a whole host of people, all poised to help with every aspect of your Move-In and transition to life in Wilson College.

You will soon hear from your Residential College Adviser (RCA) via email or phone. The RCAs, also known as the Core Group, are carefully selected juniors and seniors whose friendship and mentorship will ease the adjustments of the freshman year. The RCAs are on hand to help with move-in on September 12 and they look forward to shaking your hand and finally chatting in person.

You will also be greeted by members of the College Council during Move-In. They will be on hand to help with luggage and directions. These dedicated sophomores, juniors and seniors organize many student activities over the course of the year, ranging from social and cultural affairs to intramural athletics and civic engagement. 

Finally, during Orientation you will also meet our ten Resident Graduate Students (RGSs), a select group of graduate students who live in the College, facilitating and participating in programming that enhances the intellectual life of Wilson College.

We are aware that moving will be exhausting so the College Staff and RCAs will provide sustenance and cheer at our special Class of 2013 Welcome Dinner on Saturday, September 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the beautiful new Wilcox Dining Hall.  You can look forward to this opportunity to meet members of the College staff and introduce yourself to the other members of your RCA group and fellow freshman that will be living in Wilson College.
