Wilson College RCA
Katherine Pogrebniak, 14

Hello and welcome to Wilson College! My name is Katherine Pogrebniak. Though my last name originates from the Ukraine, prior to coming to Princeton I lived in the land of sunburns, oranges, and Disney World. I am a computer science major in the School of Engineering and also a pre-med student spending my summers in DC working at the NIH on the ABCA4 transporter protein. During my last two years (I am so sad to already be a junior!) I have enjoyed playing the bassoon in the Princeton University Band, volunteering and being a member of the executive board of CHASA (Community House After School Academy), and occasionallyrepresenting Wilson in the always entertaining intramural sports of broom ball and inner tube water polo. If you thought that you would be seeing everything through orange and black lenses for the next four years, I must tell you that the Wilson colors of blue and orange will also be mixed into the spectrum. I am really looking forward to meeting all of you. Please come by my room in 1939 Hall at any time. My door is always open. As they say down in Florida,
"See you real soon!"
