Each year, the Princeton Writing Program offers eight to ten half-term courses for graduate students in Writing in Science and Engineering. The WSE courses are taught by scientists and engineers who have received training in writing and teaching writing. Scientists and engineers interested in teaching writing at Princeton may apply to teach the WSE courses through two routes:
Postdocs at Princeton University already are eligible to apply for Postdoctoral Fellowships in Scientific Writing. These part-time fellowships enable researchers to augment their scientific training with training in writing and writing pedagogy.
Postdocs from anywhere in the world can apply to become lecturers in the Princeton Writing Program. PWP lecturers are drawn from a diverse range of disciplines including science and engineering; they teach the freshman Writing Seminars.
