I am a Ph.D. candidate supervised by Iain Couzin and Simon Levin in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. Prior to this I obtained an M.Sc. in physics within the Complexity Science Group at the University of Calgary, under the supervision of Jörn Davidsen and Maya Paczuski. In the fall of 2014 I will join the Santa Fe Institute as an Omidyar Fellow.

Integrating theory, experiment and empirical data, my work aims to uncover general principles of collective behaviour and to understand how these behaviours shape patterns and processes at the level of the ecosystem.
