What are the main features of RefWorks?
- RefWorks is internet-accessible ( http://www.refworks.com/), and allows each user a private account . (You must register the first time you use it.) RefWorks allows you to import references from Princeton's Main Catalog and many electronic databases which Princeton licenses. You can conveniently compile a list of sources you intend to read--as you identify them--and save the list online.
- RefWorks interacts with Microsoft Word (the “Write-N-Cite” feature) so that you can insert footnotes and a bibliography while you are writing your paper.
- RefWorks lets you annotate citations in your personal, web-accessible*, database. You can take notes online.
*To use RefWorks remotely (from outside the university network) you must also enter a user group code in addition to your Login name and password. Princeton's user group code is RWPrinceton .
