The Atlanta Thrashers are a professional ice hockey team based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. They are members of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the team's inception, their home games have been played at Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta. The Thrashers have qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs once in their ten seasons in the NHL, during the 2006–07 season.
