Burnett County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of 2000, the population was 15,674. Its county seat is in the Town of Meenon with the majority of county governmental services located at the Burnett County Government Center.



According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 880 square miles (2,279.2 km2), of which 822 square miles (2,129.0 km2) is land and 59 square miles (152.8 km2) (6.69%) is water.
