Campbell County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wyoming. As of 2008, the United States Census Bureau estimates that the population was 41,473, up from 33,698 in 2000. Its county seat is Gillette[1].



Campbell County was organized in 1911.


According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 4,802 square miles (12,437.1 km2), of which 4,797 square miles (12,424.2 km2) is land and 5 square miles (12.9 km2) (0.10%) is water.
