Country Club Hills is a city in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 16,169 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.6 square miles (12.0 km²), of which, 4.6 square miles (11.9 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.43%) is water.


As of the 2000 census[3], there were 16,169 people, 5,297 households, and 4,248 families residing in the city. The population density was 3,504.4 people per square mile (1,354.2/km²). There were 5,491 housing units at an average density of 1,190.1/sq mi (459.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 14.51% White, 81.90% African American, 0.15% Native American, 1.01% Asian, 0.54% from other races, and 1.88% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.73% of the population.
