Crisp County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was created on August 17, 1905. As of 2000, the population was 21,996. The 2007 Census Estimate shows a population of 22,125.[1] The county seat is Cordele.[2]

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 281 square miles (727.8 km2), of which 274 square miles (709.7 km2) is land and 7 square miles (18.1 km2) (2.62%) is water.
