Eddy County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of 2000, the population was 2,757. Its county seat is New Rockford.[1]

Eddy County is the smallest county in area in North Dakota. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 644 square miles (1,668.0 km2), of which 630 square miles (1,631.7 km2) is land and 14 square miles (36.3 km2) (2.19%) is water.
