Fulton Township is a civil township of Gratiot County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,413 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.8 square miles (92.6 km²), of which, 35.2 square miles (91.2 km²) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.5 km²) of it (1.57%) is water.

Demographics

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 2,413 people, 884 households, and 670 families residing in the township. The population density was 68.5 per square mile (26.5/km²). There were 963 housing units at an average density of 27.4/sq mi (10.6/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 96.77% White, 0.17% African American, 0.46% Native American, 0.04% Asian, 1.08% from other races, and 1.49% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.36% of the population.
