Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of 2000, the population was 33,166. It is named in honor of the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Its county seat is Brookhaven[1].

The Brookhaven Micropolitan Statistical Area includes all of Lincoln County.



According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 588 square miles (1,523 km²), of which, 586 square miles (1,517 km²) of it is land and 2 square miles (6 km²) of it (0.42%) is water.
