Loma Rica is a census-designated place (CDP) in Yuba County, California, United States. The population was 2,075 at the 2000 census. Loma Rica is located 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Marysville.[1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 18.4 square miles (47.7 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 2,075 people, 756 households, and 603 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 112.7 people per square mile (43.5/km²). There were 799 housing units at an average density of 43.4/sq mi (16.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.78% White, 0.43% African American, 2.31% Native American, 0.87% Asian, 0.19% Pacific Islander, 1.25% from other races, and 5.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.98% of the population.
