Mills County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of 2000, the population was 14,547. Its county seat is Glenwood.[1] It is one of three Iowa counties in the eight-county Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Statistical Area.[2]

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 440 square miles (1,139 km²) 437 square miles (1,131 km²) of it is land and 3 square miles (8 km²) of it (0.71%) is water.
