Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of 2000, the population was 15,457. The 2005 Census Estimate shows a population of 17,492.[1] The county seat is Madison, Georgia.[2]

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 918 km² (355 mi²). 906 km² (350 mi²) of it is land and 13 km² (5 mi²) of it (1.40%) is water.
