Morrisonville is a village in Christian County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,068 at the 2000 census.



Morrisonville is located at 39°25′9″N 89°27′26″W / 39.41917°N 89.45722°W / 39.41917; -89.45722 (39.419276, -89.457320).[1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.0 square miles (2.7 km²), all of it land.


As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,068 people, 435 households, and 311 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,035.4 people per square mile (400.3/km²). There were 474 housing units at an average density of 459.6/sq mi (177.7/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.78% White, 0.09% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.47% Asian, and 0.56% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.56% of the population.
