Morrow is a village in Salem Township, Warren County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2000 census, the village population was 1,286, up from 1,206 in 1990. The village is named for Governor Jeremiah Morrow.

Morrow is home to the second largest winery in Ohio, Valley Vineyards.[citation needed]

Geography

Morrow is located at 39°21′11″N 84°7′47″W / 39.35306°N 84.12972°W / 39.35306; -84.12972 (39.353116, -84.129594)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.7 square miles (4.5 km²), of which, 1.7 square miles (4.4 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (1.74%) is water.

Demographics

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,286 people, 462 households, and 298 families residing in the village. The population density was 760.7 people per square mile (293.8/km²). There were 498 housing units at an average density of 294.6/sq mi (113.8/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.82% White, 0.70% African American, 0.86% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.16% from other races, and 0.39% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.18% of the population.

There were 462 households out of which 34.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.4% were married couples living together, 14.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.3% were non-families. 29.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 3.19.
