Nicollet County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population was 29,771. Its county seat is St. Peter[1].

Nicollet County is part of the MankatoNorth Mankato Metropolitan Statistical Area.



According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 467 square miles (1,209 km²), of which 452 square miles (1,171 km²) is land and 15 square miles (38 km²) (3.14%) is water.
