Rosebud County is a county located in the U.S. state of Montana. As of 2000, the population was 9,383. Its county seat is Forsyth[1].



According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 5,027 square miles (13,020 km²), of which, 5,012 square miles (12,982 km²) of it is land and 15 square miles (38 km²) of it (0.29%) is water.
