Round Lake is located at 42°21′15″N 88°6′2″W / 42.35417°N 88.10056°W / 42.35417; -88.10056 (42.354045, -88.100529).[1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 9.3 square kilometers (3.6 square miles). 3.5 square miles (9.1 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (1.68%) is water.
