Sherburne County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population was 64,417. Its county seat is Elk River[2].



According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 451 square miles (1,168 km²), of which 436 square miles (1,130 km²) is land and 15 square miles (38 km²) (3.26%) is water.
