Sheridan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Montana. As of 2000, the population was 4,105. Its county seat is Plentywood[1].



According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,706 square miles (4,419 km²), of which, 1,677 square miles (4,342 km²) of it is land and 30 square miles (77 km²) of it (1.74%) is water.
