Titusville is a city in Brevard County, Florida in the United States. It is the county seat of Brevard County.[6] Nicknamed Space City, USA,[7] Titusville is on the Indian River, west of Merritt Island and the Kennedy Space Center and south-southwest of the Canaveral National Seashore. It is a principal city of the Palm BayMelbourne–Titusville Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The population was 40,670 at the 2000 census. As of 2008, the estimated population according to the U.S. Census Bureau was 44,756.[2]
