Warren County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky, specifically the Pennyroyal Plateau and Western Coal Fields regions[1]. It is included in the Bowling Green, Kentucky, Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2009, the population of Warren County was estimated to be 108,669. The county seat is Bowling Green. The county is dry, meaning that the sale of alcohol is prohibited, but contains the wet city of Bowling Green, where retail alcohol sales are allowed. This makes Warren County a moist county.[2]
