Williams Township is a township in Aitkin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 153 as of the 2000 census.[3]

Etymology

Williams Township was named for George T. Williams, who served as probate judge of Aitkin County for many years.[4]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.9 square miles (93.0 km²), of which 35.9 square miles (92.9 km²) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) (0.06%) is water.

The city of McGrath lies geographically within the township but is a separate entity.
