Profile
Andrew Conway
My research is concerned with individual differences in working memory capacity, cognitive control, and general intelligence (Spearmanís g). An individual differences approach to cognitive abilities not only informs debates about why variation exists among individuals but also informs theory about the cognitive constructs themselves (Underwood, 1975). Thus, my work integrates two scientific disciplines within Psychology: the experimental and the differential (Cronbach, 1957). More recently I have become interested in exploring behavior-brain-behavior relations through a combination of experimental design, psychometrics, and neural imaging (fMRI).
