Course Description

Head of Course: Andrew Ford, Classics

Reading and discussion of some of the works of the classical and biblical traditions that have had the most influence on Western culture.

The course is designed for students in all disciplines who do not want to graduate without having read these books

Course requirements include three papers and a Final exmaination (futher details available through the course home page) as well as regular attendance at lectures and participation in class discussion
