After knocking over a pricey vase inside her school's exclusive Host Club, working-class scholarship student Haruhi finds herself in the club's debt. The only way to pay her way out is by working as a host. But there's a problem: They think she's a he. Should Haruhi fess up to the club's snooty members and tell them she's really a girl? Or is it more advantageous to go along with the charade? Only time will tell.
In this wistful anime series, the angel-like haibane arrive in Guri in seed pods that fly into the walled town and grow into cocoons. Their names are derived from the dreams they've had while "growing" inside the cocoon, and they have no memory of their previous life. New arrival Rakka -- full of questions about her purpose and surroundings -- joins Nemu and Reki, oldest of all the haibane.
In this anime adventure, Mireille is a professional assassin who's contacted one day by a young woman claiming to be an amnesiac named Yumura. Drawn in by Yumura's story, Mireille discovers that Yumura possesses the skills of an assassin and may be able to unlock some of the secrets of Mireille's past. Soon, it becomes clear that both women are the focus of a deadly conspiracy that will call upon all their skills to stay alive.
Inspired by the award-winning novel series by Ryohgo Narita and Katsumi Enami, this action-packed anime series revolves around the exploits of a group of immortal 18th-century alchemists currently living their lives as Prohibition-era gangsters. Filled with tommy gun-toting mob guys, idiot thieves and elixir-peddling bootleggers, this unique adventure blends sci-fi and pulp fiction to create an entertaining saga unlike any other.
Just as Sasahara settles into his position as the leader of the Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture, the group lands a chance to sell their own manga books at the upcoming Comic Festival. But how do they create the books they envision? And just when things at Genshiken begin to really take off, everyone is thrown for a big loop by the blossoming yet cautious relationship between Ohno and Tanaka.
