Welcome to Astrid's Webpage!

I am a graduate student in Operations Research and Financial Engineering.
My research interests revolve around the Financial Engineering side, especially on the commodities market, and optimal capital structure and leverage.
I became interested in these topics while working as a consultant in the financial industry and they largely motivated me to pursue a PhD.
Currently, I am in my second year of graduate studies and working with Prof. John Mulvey on investigating behavior of agribusiness stocks and the commodities market.
