  • There are six new, high-end PCs in N203.  Several of them have Wacom Professional Graphics pads.  Try them out and tell me what you think.  archcomp@princeton.edu

  • All Dell computers in the lab should be functioning properly at this time.  If you have any problems, don't forget to fill out a feedback form in the black binder next to the phone.

  • Please remember to clean up after yourself when you are finished your work.  Many students have complained about the messy condition of the lab.  Thank you.

  • 3D Studio Max 7 is now available on all Microns in the lab.  A set of User Manuals is located in the N203.

  • Please remember that in order for the school to keep Plotting free and readily available, you must be careful about not wasting paper and ink.  Print out a small black and white if you are unsure of your results.  Please don't print on solid, dark backgrounds as this is a terrible waste of ink.

  • There is a  high resolution projector in the lab.  The hook up is next to the laser printer and the remote is in a slot at the back of the projector.

  • Many of you are having problems with opening 3D Max files after saving them to zip disk.  My recommendation is to make sure you are using a 250mb disk and don't let your disk get too full.
