Cat at the end of the conduit tunnels
William Evans
Facilities Engineering
In preparation for the new Chemistry building, Princeton University's Jadwin Hall 5kV electrical feeders needed to be relocated. This picture shows the penetrations that have been made in the areaway wall -- a wall that runs between the building foundation and the south lawn of Jadwin Hall -- to make way for the new run of power conduit. Peeping through the upper holes in this image, one can glimpse a yellow Excavator, one of the pieces of heavy equipment used to construct the new Chemistry building.
