True to ASAP tradition, we played with water and colors in the afternoon on Saturday, March 22nd. There was a party in the evening with Indian food, music, and dance. There were several fun and controversial moments during Antakshari. Check out all the fun here. ASAP Celebrates Festival of Colors - March 18, 2006 We are far from home, but hey, that shouldn't stop us from celebrating Holi in its true style. Come join ASAP and play with water and colors on Saturday, March 18th at 11am at the Graduate College tower. There will also be a dry holi celebration the same evening starting 7:00pm at the New Graduate College common room. Excellent food, music and dance for all of you. Nepalese Film Series - November 10 and 22, 2004 The purpose of this series of events is to challenge participants see Nepal as a beautiful country that is ethnically diverse, traditionally rich, conflict torn yet hopeful. Participants will be able to hear from Princeton students who have been involved in a volunteer run non-profit organization, The Nepalese Children's Education Fund (NCEF) (co-founded by Atul Pokharel '05) as an example of small ways of making a difference. All showings are free and open to the public. They will be followed by a moderated discussion and Nepalese appetizers. For details and the schedule, click here. Freshers' Welcome Party - September 10 This year's first ASAP event was a welcome party for the newcomers. The event began with introduction session of the new students and was followed by dinner and a movie. We gratefully acknowledge the support of The Office of Religious Life, The VP for Campus Life and the International Center in organizing this event. Details and pictures from the event will be posted soon. P-AID helping Bihar Flood Victims The Princeton chapter of Association for India's Development (AID) is trying to raise money to be sent to flood victims in Bihar by screening a wide assortment of movies. Please attend and help. Popcorn and drinks will be served. A voluntary donation (suggested $5) will be appreciated.
As the last event of this academic year, we bid farewell to our graduating
members. On June 19 Saturday a bunch of us got together at the new restaurant
in the neighbourhood, Ganges, and treated the parting members to a farewell dinner.
After the dinner, over coffee at Small World, we said good-byes and promised to stay in touch!

The Outdoor Action Club went for a white water rafting trip to the LeHeigh river in the Delaware water gap on May 22. Photos coming up soon.
The outdoor action club went on it's first Hiking trip in St. Minsi in Delaware water gap on April 18. Since this was the first trip, a moderate difficulty trail (6 miles) was chosen. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to Pallav for organizing this trip. The pictures are hereASAP celebrated the South Asian New Year, Harvest, Spring Festival, on Friday, April 16th. This was a combined celebration of traditional South Asian festivals like Baisakhi, Gudi Padva, Poila Boishakh, Vishu, Puthandu, Aluth Avurudhu and others celebrated in the month of April. It involved South Asian food (dinner) along with traditional music and dance, painting rangolis, an antakshari competition with attractive prizes and was a lot of fun. Travelling Film South Asia 2004, the travelling compilation from the Film South Asia festival, concluded on March 28th. Fifteen films of TFSA 2004 were screened over the week from Monday, March 22nd, to Sunday, March 28th. Thanks to everyone who came to watch the films. For More information visit the TFSA website.
