Mapping a text

Since a picture is worth several thousand words, in Figure 1 we see a graphical representation of the wordcounts in the main sections of WM. Figure 1. divides the text into fifteen sections. There are three "Teile." Each Teil is then separated into several levels of sub-divisions:

Below you see a graph that carries the word count for each section:

The average word count for each section is approx. 12150 words. However, we can divide to work much finer. By going down one more level we can lower the average to approx 4430 words. In both cases we are doing no more than following the divisions set up by the author. We are talking about the relative "size" of the sections not because it is any ultimate key to understanding, but because it is easy to do and instructive.
