| Today's rapid advances in biomedical technology raise questions challenging the fundamental moral, ethical, and legal codes of society. Entirely student run, the Bioethics Forum is devoted to examining contemporary issues in bioethics including genetic engineering, reproductive rights, stem cell research, and euthanasia, to name a few. By sponsoring conferences, lectures, student debates, and field trips to community hospitals, The Bioethics Forum promotes student awareness and involvement in the issues surrounding healthcare, scientific research and human life.
