Call for Papers

The Bioethics Forum of Princeton University requests submissions from undergraduate students for the 2004 Princeton Journal of Bioethics. We encourage submissions to the national, undergraduate Journal on any topic in Bioethics. Submissions are due on or before January 25, 2004.

General Guidelines and requirements:

- The primary goal of this journal is to represent the work of undergraduate students in the field of bioethics. For this reason, we can only accept submissions from undergraduates. Questions concerning eligibility should be directed to bioethic @ princeton.edu
- Maximum of 3000 words, approximately 10-15 pages.
- In Microsoft Word format ONLY (PC preferred).
- Submissions must be fully referenced with parenthetical references and a Works Cited page at the end in MLA style.
- Please send 2 hardcopies and a disk along with all contact information (name, year, academic institution, mailing address, phone number and email address) to the address below.
- In addition to mailing your paper, you must also email it to bioethic @ princeton.edu. We will confirm your submission within a week, and if you do not hear from us, please re-send your paper. This will ensure that we receive your paper.
- A clear, well-developed argument from any disciplines which have relevance to Bioethics. This could include but is not limited to research papers or personal analysis of issues that confront the awareness of biology in the highly technical modern age. Suggested areas of interest which may foster a discussion of Bioethics include: genetic enginneering, medical anthropology, reproductive rights, biotechnology, ethics, philosophy, public policy, healthcare economics/insurance, status of the medical profession, areas of scientific research, environmental issues and various public health initiatives.

Please mail your hard-copy and Word-formatted paper on disk, cd, or Zip disk to:
