Minutes of the Graduate College "Superfly" Breakfast Club of Princeton University on September 26, 2002 in Procter Hall, at the usual table Present were: E. A. Adelizzi (the President), B. J. Brown, A. M. Fiskiran (Auditor-in-Chief), P. Keevash, G. "K." Marx, S. J. Miller (President Emeritus), and Å. K. Rennermalm. Mr. Adelizzi took the extraordinary step of convening the meeting at 7:42 a.m. Mr. Adelizzi explained that the GC"S"BCPU had neither Constitution nor laws. Thus, he submitted, it was bound by (1) precedent, and (2) common law. Common law had two sources: (1) precedent, and (2) the precedents of the Breakfast Club of Yale College, from which the founders of the GC"S"BCPU had come. Mr. Adelizzi then declared that he, as President, was acting under his common law powers, grounded in BCYC precedent, to grant A. Adhitya (the Secretary) an attendance exemption for the day, due to her illness. He explained that Ms. Adhitya had called him at 7:25 or so and said she was sick and would be late. It was moved and seconded (by Mr. Brown and Dr. Miller, or vice-versa) to resolve that Ms. Adhitya should feel better soon. After a series of friendly amendments and riders, the following motion emerged: "RESOLVED, 1) That Anita gets well, that she does not call Åsa before 8:30 a.m., that she not singlehandedly take on Iraq, that she open friendly talks with North Korea, and 2) That the Graduate College Parking Fee be abolished." An amendment that Ms. Adhitya be required to notify all members of the club in advance before getting sick again failed. The resolution was passed unanimously at 7:49 a.m. It was decided that Mr. Adelizzi should write the minutes in the absence of the Secretary. Mr. Adelizzi asked for and received a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded, and passed unanimously at 7:50 a.m. Respectfully submitted,
E. Adelizzi
