Mission
The purpose of the Black Student Union of Princeton University is to foster a sense of community among all students of the African Diaspora at Princeton.
Our mission is to stimulate the intellectual, political, cultural, and social growth of all Princeton students. Through enriching programs such as General Meetings, the Du Bois Intellectual Series, our Leadership and Mentoring Program, and community service, we seek to educate ourselves and the larger Princeton community, in hopes that awareness will spark action and ignite change in our communities.
In addition, the Black Student Union shall serve as a resource to all other groups on campus serving students of the African Diaspora.
It is our belief that “men and women of ordinary ability become Pillars of Strength when aroused by desire, stimulated by action.”
