- Batteries – If you can’t wait see below:
- Rechargable batteries can be taken to Radio Shack, Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Sears.
- Small batteries (Alkaline, dry cell, AAA, AA, C, D, & 9 volt) – recycle in a white bucket in the Butler Laundry Room
- Car & Boat (wet cell) batteries – ask local repair facility to see if they will accept it
- Televisions
- VCRs
- Fluorescent Bulbs
- Pool Chemicals
- Pesticides
- Insecticides, Insect Repellents
- Paint
- Enamel or oil based paint

A permit is necessary to access the center and must be obtained at the Princeton Sewer Operating Committee office, Borough Hall, 1 Monument Drive, call 497-7639 for further information.

- Tires – Tires off the rim
- Used Motor Oil
DO NOT RECYCLE!
- Plastic Flower Pots and Flower Flats – Return to the place of purchase or place with your regular household refuse.
- Syringes – Break needles and place in a hard plastic bottle with a secure top. Dispose with your regular household refuse. You can also join a syringe return program. Call 497-4266 for further information.
- Latex Paint – Latex paint is to be placed in the garbage with your regular household refuse. Remove lids, air dry the cans or fill with sand or kitty litter prior to placing out for garbage collection.
- Bubble Wrap – Dispose with your regular household refuse or call a local shipping outlet to see if they will accept.
- Packing Paper, Packing Peanuts, Styrofoam – Place in the garbage with your regular household refuse. It may be possible to take packing peanuts to a local shipping store. They also make a great drainage aid for your container plants.
- Scrap Metal – Refer to the Yellow Pages for local scrap metal yards. Many will pay for the metal.
