The Butler Committee's mission is to improve the quality of life for Butler residents. We deal with issues ranging from housing policies and maintenance to social events and speed bumps.

Any resident can participate - just come along to the Butler Community Room at 9:00 PM on the first Monday of every month!

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or anecdotes, feel free to send us an e-mail! Our address is butlerap at princeton dot edu. Problems with life in Butler? The Committee may be able to help, so contact us!

Butler E-list Policy

The Butler Committee reserves the use of the butler-res listserv for Butler Committee business and for messages concerning issues of vital importance to individual Butler residents.

Examples of issues "of vital importance" to Butler residents include lost keys, wallets, pets, medications, or extremely valuable items. Examples of messages that are not deemed "of vital importance" by the Butler Committee include personal advertisements for sublets, sales, employment, etc. and messages about misdelivered packages or other lost items (unless the item or package itself is of vital importance).

The Butler Committee suggests using the university-wide TigerTrade service at point.princeton.edu or the bulletin boards in the laundry room as an alternative for all personal messages about sales, sublets, or lost items.
