How do I get to Butler?

First you must find Harrison Street. It is one of the three main arteries through Princeton. Harrison Street intersects with Route 1, Hartley Ave., Prospect Avenue, Nassau Street, Hamilton Ave., Valley Road, and almost (by way of Ewing Street) Route 206.

From Harrison Street you need to find Sycamore or Hartley. These are south of Nassau Street or Prospect, and north of Route 1 or Hartley.

Coming from the north (Route 206, Nassau or Prospect), take Harrison St. south and turn left onto Sycamore or Hartley. Coming from the south (Route 1), take Harrison Street north and turn right onto Sycamore or Hartley.

Butler has only two entrances, both very close to Harrison St. From Sycamore you will make a quick right into the complex, and from Hartley you will make a quick left into the complex. If you take a look at our detailed map of the complex you can see how to turn into Butler Apartments, and you can also see how to find the specific address you're looking for.

Click here for a Google map showing the corner of Harrison and Sycamore. Google's driving directions are slightly wrong. It shows Butler Ave extending all the way to Harrison St, and it does not show the short street connecting Hartley Ave and Butler Ave . Still, the map should give you a good idea of how our own directions work.

Butler Apartments is also one of the stops for the Princeton campus shuttle.
