About Grad Yoga

Grad Yoga is a registered club with the Graduate School of Princeton University. Our classes are held at the New Graduate College Community Room at the Graduate College. During the pandemic, we are virtual. Classes are offered by session (not as drop-in classes), and are paid at the start of each session. There are three sessions per year, roughly aligning with the university calendar (Fall, Spring, Summer). All current Princeton University graduate students, their family members, and Princeton community members are eligible for Grad Yoga classes.

Goals of Grad Yoga

Our guiding goal is to provide the highest quality yoga instruction at a price that's affordable for graduate students. We seek out great instructors to teach each of our classes (see more info under "class descriptions"). Our classes are in the alignment-focused Iyengar tradion. With the help of our volunteer organizers, costs are kept low, in part through a system of pre-payment for the 12-20 week sessions. Space in the classes is always limited, and demand always exceeds our capacity. As such, we do our best to accommodate as many yogis as possible.
