Interviews
Bryan Mignone is a graduate student
in the Princeton University Program in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences.
His research focuses on ocean sequestration as an option to address
the rising carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere.
Robert G. Bruant Jr. is a research associate
in the Princeton University Depart of Civil and Environmental engineering.
Bruant’s research involves environmental organic and inorganic
chemistry. Specific research related to carbon sequestration involves
experimental determination of high-pressure/high-temperature mineral
dissolution rates in the presence of carbon dioxide. The effort
is intended to better characterize effects of carbon dioxide injection
and storage on geochemical processes in deep saline aquifers.
