TRAVEL & SUMMER STUDY

The Classics Department has prize funds available to help undergraduates finance Summer Research Projects, including intensive language study, academic programs in Greece and Italy, or independent travel.

All students interested in applying for such funds should submit a written request to Marc Domingo Gygax, Dep. Rep., Department of Classics, 163 East Pyne, (mdomingo@princeton.edu). Deadline for receiving applications is TBA.  Requests should include name, class, campus address (and email), University I.D. number, a brief description of the project and its relation to your academic career at Princeton, and an itemized budget. If you are seeking funding to participate in a formal academic program, please indicate whether you have already been accepted into that program.

An application in PDF format is available for downloading here.  Please use this form when applying for prize funds.

Please contact Professor Domingo Gygax if you would like any information about possibilities for Summer Study abroad.

You are also encouraged to seek funding from other sources on campus, including the program in Hellenic Studies (for study in Greece) and class funds.
