We have organized a variety of events in the past that have included:

The Past

Spring 2001

We organized a successful debate with Agape about the existence of God and a regional freethought conference.

November 2000

-Weekend of November 10-12: A CommonSense cookie bake-off to see who can make the best Darwin Fish cookies

-November 19: Morning: Student-led session of the Princeton Ethical Humanist Fellowship with a panel of student group leaders.
-Afternoon: CommonSense group discussion with Swarthmore student activist and Campus Freethought Alliance President Micah White. Erin Cowan of CFA will be there too.
-3pm: Student-led panel discussion on "God in the Classroom" with the Princeton University chapter of the ACLU. The moderator will be a Princeton politics professor.

October 2000

-Our first Movie Night with a screening of the controversial film "The Rapture" is scheduled for Friday, October 6. We will hold a short, informal discussion after the show. Learn more about "The Rapture" here.

-The movie night was a success!! We thank everyone who managed to make it out.

-Philosopher Paul Kurtz is coming to Princeton Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 8pm in McCosh 46 to give a lecture entitled: "Secular Humanists: The Last Repressed Minority." Learn more about Paul Kurtz here.

-We had more than 130 people show up to the Paul Kurtz lecture! Thanks for coming out everyone.

-Author Jerry Reiter will talk about his new book on the religious right and the anti-abortion movement on Thursday, October 19 at 8pm in McCosh 46.

-Jerry Reiter was a riveting speaker and he had some great stories to tell. We'll have to have him come back and play his guitar for us next time.
