Research Interests

As an undergraduate at Georgia Tech, I conducted research in the field of evolutionary/comparative genomics. In the Yi lab, I studied the following topics:

1) Influnce of sociality on evolutionary rates in insects.

2) Determinants of molecular clocks in primates.

3) The evolutionary impact of functional RNA secondary structures within protein-coding genes in yeast.

For my thesis research at Princeton, I am a joint lab member in the Storey and Broach labs. I study the influence of chromatin modifications on transcriptional regulation in yeast.
