Christine Mak '13
Treasurer
For as long as she can remember, Christine Mak has been dancing.
Growing up in southern California, she started dancing at the age of
4, and later joined the Pasadena Civic Ballet Company, where she
received her training in classical ballet, jazz, character, (some)
hip-hop, and modern dance. Some highlights of her dancing career
include traveling abroad to Hawaii, New York, and Monaco with her
dance company and recently attending a live taping of So You Think You
Can Dance (Season 5). Christine is incredibly eXcited to be dancing
with eXpressions this year at Princeton, and she can't wait to get
started!
In addition to dancing with eXpressions, Christine also dances with
Princeton's dance department, enjoys crossword puzzles and playing
tennis, wants to try ballroom dancing, and volunteers her time as a
PiTSToP tutor. She is thinking of majoring in Biology or Psychology,
with certificates in Dance and Teacher Preparation, and aspires to
become a teacher someday.
