For example, an APDA team that fails to pre-register and pay up front will be charged $130.

Pre-Registration closes one week before the tournament, at noon on Friday, February 21st, 2003. You may continue to register online after that but the $10 late registration fee will apply.  The final deadline for registration is midnight, Tuesday February 25, 2003. Registration after this will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

All institutions are highly encouraged to pre-register their teams, and all foreign teams must contact the tournament directors as soon as possible.

Discounts may be available for teams with financial hardships or high traveling expenses. Please contact Financial Vice President Dashi Singham if you have questions about paying registration fees or if your school needs a discount.

For all other inquiries, please contact the Tournament Directors.

Online Registration Form: Seeding

Seeds are used to determine first-round pairings at most APDA tournaments.  Teams may be designated either full-seed (both members have been in final rounds of APDA-sanctioned tournaments) or half-seed (only one member has been in a final round).  Additionally, each competing school receives a free seed, to be assigned at their discretion to a single team.  In the first round, seeded teams are paired so as to hit unseeded teams.  If the number of seeded teams is sufficiently large, however, seed protection is revoked in the following order: first free seeds are not honored, then half-seeds, and finally full seeds.

Online Registration Form: Judges

The “Judges” field in the registration form refers to the judges that your institution will be bringing to the tournament. Bringing judges is not compulsory; of course, it will be highly appreciated. In addition, in the event that we have to enforce the cap of 4 teams per institution, we will be able to make more allowances for institutions that bring judges.

How to register:

Registration online

or via e-mail
