Travel Information

Directions to Princeton by car, train, and plane are available from Princeton's Center for Visitor and Conference Services. You can access that information by clicking here.

Arriving at Newark International Airport

There is a new Airlink monorail connecting all Newark Airport terminals to the Newark International Airport Train Station. Both NJ Transit’s North East Corridor Line and Amtrak trains serve that train station. NJ Transit is the cheaper of the two. From the Newark International Airport Train Station, take the southbound train towards Trenton. Get off at Princeton Junction (less than an hour away). Get on the shuttle train to Princeton. The Princeton Train Station is right on campus. Give us a call so that we can have someone pick you up at the train station. It is important to let us know beforehand when to expect you.

The Princeton Airporter runs hourly van services to Princeton University and surrounding areas. The fare is $23 one way per person. Just call the Airporter from the special phones at the Ground Transportation counter at every Newark terminal.

The Princeton Debate Panel will be running a van shuttle to Newark (and possibly JFK) Airport. Teams that are flying into the New Jersey area should contact the Tournament Directors immediately with their flight information in order to take advantage of this free shuttle service. Please note that we may not be able to arrange for a shuttle if insufficient notice is given.
