I am currently a post-doctoral research associate at the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing at Princeton University. I received my Ph.D. in sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008.

My research interests include t
he causes and consequences of skill formation over the life course, linking intergenerational mobility and socioeconomic inequality, and quantitative research methods (distributional, nonparametric, and potential outcome approaches).

I enjoy playing tennis, listening to Pat Metheny Group, and collecting used LPs during my free time.
